ANTI BRIBERY & EMBEZZELEMENT STATEMENT AND PLEDGE

1. Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to set out the values, principles and responsibilities SVI adheres to and expects from all employees with regard to bribery and embezzlement. 
2. Values and Principles
Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance Co., Ltd and associated companies and subsidiaries (including Samsung Vina Insurance Co., Ltd) are committed to conducting business dealings with integrity as the highlighted core value. In line with its zero-tolerance approach against all form of bribery and embezzlement, SVI takes a strong stance against such acts.
3. Policy Statement
a) It is our policy to conduct all of our business in an honest and ethical manner. We are committed to acting professionally, fairly and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships wherever we operate and implementing and enforcing effective systems to counter bribery. 
b) This policy applies to all individuals working at all levels and grades, including members, officers, directors, senior managers, managers, employees (whether permanent, fixed-term or temporary), trainees, seconded staff, outsourced staff, volunteers, interns, or any other person associated with us, or any of our subsidiaries or their employees, wherever located (collectively referred to as Employees in this policy).
c) The Employee shall not, by any means:
i. directly or through an intermediary receive or promise to receive or accept or seek any bribe (as money, property, other tangible benefits or intangible benefits) for himself/herself or for another person or organization as a condition to act or not to act in the interests of or at the request of the bribe giver;
ii. broker a bribery; 
iii. abuse of trust to appropriate; abuse the position or power to embezzle; illegal impoundment of; by fraud to obtain any kind of asset (including money, funds and the other by SVI policy and laws of Vietnam) of any value that belongs to SVI or you are responsible for.
