Samsung Vina Insurance Co., Ltd. (“SVI”) is a limited liability company incorporated in Vietnam under the Establishment and Operations License No. 20GP/KDBH dated 30 August 2002 issued by the Ministry of Finance (“MOF”), which was subsequently amended by the latest Establishment and Operation License No. 70/GP/KDBH dated 17 January 2014 with No. 70/GPDC1/KDBH dated 18 August 2014.

SVI was established as a joint venture between Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance Co., Ltd (“SFMI”) and Vietnam National Reinsurance Corporation (“VinaRe”).

Founded year: August 30, 2002

Paid-up chartered capital (as of 2021): VND 500 billion, 75% share of SFMI and 25% share of VinaRe
